Purchase refrigerator/freezer thermometers. I always use them. It seems especially important with this one. The temperature gauge on mine is extremely sensitive and you should wait 24 hours after adjusting it. Mine ends up being set at a hair over 2 to keep my fridge at 38-40 degrees. The manufacturer recommendation of a setting of 4 will result in freezing items in your refrigerator compartment. Of course, how loaded the refrigerator and freezer is matters. I tend to fill the freezer and don’t keep a lot in my refrigerator. Using the thermometers as a guide. My freezer tends to stay between -10 and 10 degrees.

The proper fresh food section temperature range is between 37 and 42 degrees Fahrenheit. The freezer should be between 0 and 7 degrees Fahrenheit. We hope this helps! Please feel free to reach out with any further questions you may have. -Chris@Haier
