• A:Answer Err seems to mean it has too much water for the single cup and will stop instead of overflowing and dumping hot water all over the counter. When it happened to me, I found that I had overfilled the system when selecting single cup. To prevent overflowing, you are only allowed to have 14oz of water in the machine when you choose the single cup. I unplugged that machine to reset it (which may or may not have been necessary), but then turn the selector knob back to carafe to dump out whatever water was still in the system. At this point, the coffee maker was entirely empty of water and the err went away. When making a single cup, such as for a travel mug, just put the water into the travel mug and put only that much water into the machine. -Dan

• A:Answer Yes the coffee comes out hot. Easy to fill. No drama. . This allows me to make a single cup for myself and then a pot of coffee for students. I love it. I will buy another for my home eventually. . Read the instructions. If you want one cup of coffee, you only can pour in to the "single cup" line of water. If you fill more it will automatically fill the coffee pot and not the k-cup. Sounds simple, but the natural tendency is to fill the water port. If you do that, then it will not allow the k-cup to operate. You need to "low fill" for k-cup.

• A:Answer All of our coffeemakers brew between 175 and 185 degrees Fahrenheit. To fill the water reservoir, you simply open the door on the top of the appliance and use the carafe or a coffee mug to dump the desired amount of water into the appliance. The carafe side has a KEEP WARM mode of two hours after the coffee has been brewed.

• A:Answer Not sure as mine did not do this. However when using Kcup side only add 8-10 oz of water. If you add more ERR will display and it will not brew on Kcup side because water is overfilled for a Kcup. Full pot will brew if you turn switch to pot side. Hope this helps.

Q: Questionwe have a flexbrew model 49958. Using our own coffee in the K-cup portion, it always overflows and spills unto the counter. Could we need a new coffee holder?

• A:Answer Using the coffe ground basket (light brown), looking inside (before you fill with grounds), there is an indentation/max fill line inside... it maybe that your putting to much grounds in, causing the basket to clog up, water displacing elsewhere. Additionally, I find its always best to use the same size cup to fill the resivor to insure yyour not exceeding the cups size. One other thing... If your brewing a small cup, use the riser that came with the maker to insure the brew goes directly in the cup, and, make sure your cup is placed against the splashguard. Note: The small tray that catches minimal overflow irs best to empty/clean regularly.

• A:Answer I read in the instructions that some foil seals on different brands of kcups can be faulty and separate. I wouldn't throw them away, dump the grounds into the grounds brew basket for the kcup side. Brew as usual for a single cup of coffee.
