“Does this thermostat work with 2 stage compressors and variable speed air handler motors? Is there an option for remote temperature sensors? If so, what is the sensor range? Thanks”

Hi Vince! The Honeywell T5 Wi-Fi Thermostat is compatible with 3 Heat / 2 Cool Heat Pump systems and 2 Heat / 2 Cool Conventional systems. Unfortunately there is no way to control a variable speed fan with this thermostat; there is only one fan terminal on the thermostat. This thermostat does not have the ability to control any sensors.
