Hi! The Hoover FloorMate is safe to use on Travertine floors. If you would like a second opinion I'd recommend contacting the floor manufacturer. -Giselle Hoover Customer Care
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used this on a small travertine floor with water only, no cleaning solution. I recommend that if you use it on travertine floors, then you do the same, or use a cleaner that will not damage the travertine (e.g., a non-acidic cleaner). And make sure to disassemble the clean water and dirty water tanks and scrubbing brush, then clean and dry after each use. If you go to the Hoover product page, they offer a variety of cleaning solutions--but recommend only one or two for this particular hard floor cleaner.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'd say yes, just be careful of what kind of cleaner you put in it. I use Unitex ph neutral daily clean on my terrazzo, as was recommended by the company that refinished my floor. Works great, no sticky or slippery residue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can use this machine safely on travertine floors BUT choose the correct soap product and brush. It comes with a stiff brush and a soft brush.
