- Answer Hi there! The Linx Signature is newer and has not had as many reviews as the original Linx model. The biggest feature change for the Linx Signature is that it has a high capacity dirt cup to hold more debris. Hope this helps! -Karissa, Hoover Customer Care

- Answer About 20 minutes which is longer than other stick cordless vacuums. This vacuum is awesome!! It's changed my life LOL! It's way way better than I ever thought it would be. I researched all of the stick vacuums, and this came on top. So glad I got it!!

- Answer Yes, you can access the roller but it requires removing 7 screws on a bottom plate of the machine - no big deal.

QuestionCan the roller brush be turned off? The manufacturer of my vinyl plank said not to use a roller brush.

- Answer Yes, the roller brush will stay off on the vacuum’s first power setting. On the vacuum’s grip, a little wheel you flick to each setting, flicking it forward just once will put you in suction only mode. The second setting runs the brushes.

Questionis it safe to leave your charger for the Hoover linx plugged in all the time? Also if I charge my beattery & don't use it how long will it hold a charge?

- Answer Hi Snoppydog! You can leave your battery in the charger for long periods of time, but we don't recommend to leave it on for longer than two weeks or more. The battery will hold a charge for a long time, as it is a Lithium-Ion battery. Hope this helps! -Michael, Hoover Customer Care

- Answer The Hoover support folks told us not to leave it in the charger after it reaches full charge. It will shorten the battery life they said.

- Answer This product is pretty smart. It waits for the battey to cool down if it's too warm to charge and etc. You can leave the battery to charge and just leave it there until you need it. Like your phone. It will trickle charge once its full. The charger does not shut off when it's done charging. Instead it will just pulsate a steady blue light indicating the battery is finished charging.

QuestionWhich battery can I buy for an extra one? The batteries on this site say they will work on any "power one" device but this vacuum does not say it is "power one".

- Answer The number on my Hoover Linx battery is 44139, and no it doesn't say "power one" anywhere. The "power one" batteries say they are 20 volt and the Linx battery is 18 volts so they are different. Would be afraid to try it without contacting Hoover first.

QuestionI have been using this model for a few months now. Brand new, battery fully charged, works great on 1st setting. On 2nd setting on full battery the brush rotates for a few seconds & dies. Also on thin carpet/rug brush won't work

- Answer Kate, it sounds like you have a bad belt. These vacuums are fairly simple to examine. You may want to remove some of the screws and access your belt , so that You can inspect it. You may be able to find a YouTube video that would help. Just don't over tighten the screws when You put your parts back together, if You decide to try a repair. The parts are only plastic and can be stripped out by over tightening. Besides, the screws will most likely stay in place if they are just firmly snugged in. I hope You get results and hopefully this may help.
