A:AnswerHey Kaden,
No, the Alloy Origins Core does not have hot-swappable switches. It comes with Red, Aqua, or Blue soldered on switches. Feel free to hit us up directly if you have any other questions or concerns.
A:AnswerNo, just the board and the USB C cable comes in the box. No extra keys or puller. This also uses HyperX's own red linear switches. Coming from their Alloy FPS Pro that used Cherry Reds, I much prefer the HyperX switches. They feel great. I would recommend buying this and a set of the HyperX Pudding key caps for $25 extra. You end up with one really really nice TKL keyboard. Check for a review from Techne on youtube.. dude is dead on in his review on this. Its an amazing keyboard at this price point for us that prefer a TKL.
A:AnswerIf you know how to desolder switches, you just need to open the board, desolder them, lube/film the switches, then solder them back on. Stabs can be lubed in the same way.
A:AnswerThis is not 100% or 60%. Closer to 87%. The only part missing is the 10key pad. 60% keyboards will drop off the arrow and discrete FN keys, etc. This TKL model is fairly compact, but a 60% will be smaller.
A:AnswerHi! I believe you may need to install the Hyper X ngenuity software, which is found on the windows store, but in your case, I think you can go the Hyper X website & download from there. The software also allows you to change the color of the RGB & how it’s displayed too.
A:AnswerAbsolutely. I purchased this keyboard for that exact reason. You can change the light profiles on a PC, then select between them on the keyboard itself. So once you setup a profile or 3, you hook it to Xbox and you're all set.
Also works through a charger USB (I have the 2 pack controller battery charger attached to my Series X, which has a Pass through usb basically).
A:AnswerHey!
Yes, the Alloy Origins Core keyboard is compatible with the NGENUITY App. Feel free to hit us up directly if you have any other questions or concerns.
A:AnswerYou can program a macro using the recording feature with Ngenuity. The recording feature will allow you to press different keys in real time. It also notes the amount of time between key presses allowing for delay.
