QuestionThe light bar will not go off when I hit the sun button - it stays on the yellow bar, how do I get the light bar to shut off?

- Answer The yellow light indicates there is a pending notification (our product support Notifications). Simply say “Alexa, what are my notifications”. Alexa will read you notifications and THEN turn off the yellow light.

QuestionI know with other ihome products you can dim the screen to completely dark/off. Can this be done with this ihome?

- Answer Yes. The iAVS16 display can be dimmed to seven brightness levels or turned completely OFF (allowing for complete darkness).

- Answer Press the snooze button and it will give you a bunch of different dim modes or off, this will also affect the screen.

- Answer Sleep mode is activated. Go into the iHome AVS App and change the Sleep duration to a number (in minutes). A quick fix is to press and hold the sleep button for 3 seconds to turn sleep OFF

- Answer Nope. If the power goes out so does Alexa. And Alexa sets the time, weather and everything else.

- Answer The iAVS16 has one standard USB port in the back, but the iHome IPLWBT5BC has a docking station for your iPhone and an apple watch dock on the side so you can charge them simultaneously.

- Answer Dear Customer, Yes, you can set an alarm to iHeartradio or Spotify, please see below for instructions. To set a music alarm: Ask Alexa to set an alarm to your desired wake-up time and music streaming service. For example, say: ‘Alexa, set an alarm for 7:00AM to wake to iHeart Radio.’ ‘Alexa, set an alarm for 10AM to wake to my Spotify playlist.’ To stop a music alarm: Say ‘Alexa, stop’ to disable a sounding music alarm. To snooze a music alarm: Say ‘Alexa, snooze’ to snooze a sounding alarm. Note: Alexa Music Alarms are set to volume level 20 by default. QuestionWhen I say 'Alexa, set alarm for 5 AM' the result is it sets an alarm for 6 AM. Whatever time I say it is always an hour off. The alarm goes off at the time displayed. I can live with it but what am I missing? Thanks for any help!

QuestionWhen the alarm goes off in the morning, is there a way to turn it off (not just snooze, but off) by pressing a button? I know you can turn it off by telling Alexa to do so, but I'm trying to be quite and not have a loud discussion with an AI.

- Answer Yes. Small button on top of unit with the play/pause symbols on it. Your alarm will stay off until the next alarm time set.

- Answer This is a great question. The outside temperature is displayed on the unit based on the zip code you enter in the iHome AVS App. All alarms are controlled via Voice or the Alexa app. If you set a one-time alarm (i.e. "Alexa, set an alarm for 6:00am") that alarm is for a single use and will not repeat. If you set a repeating alarm (i.e. "Alexa, set an alarm for 7:00am every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday"), the alarm will repeat until the alarm is canceled. While the alarm is sounding, we suggest pressing the Alexa the Play/Pause button or saying, "Alexa, stop" to end the alarm sounding. It is also important to note that the iAVS16 display will update the next alarm time once it is pushed from Alexa (which occurs daily).
