I want to set my HP desktop to my Dell monitor p2419h
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Check the external video port(s) on the laptop and which ports are on the monitor, take a picture of each, if you have to. Visit your local Best Buy and give them this information. You can also, make note of the make and model of each and provide that information.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on what connector your computer has. Does it have an HDMI port?`Or is the external monitor port blue? If it's blue that is what is called a VGA connector. They are always blue. Now look at the back of the monitor. IF there is a white connector it is a DVI. DVI is faster so if you have one of those, use it. Old monitors only had a blue VGA connector. More modern monitors have both. Blue VGA and a white DVI. So if the computer has an HDMI, and the monitor has a white DVI, then you need a HDMI to DVI cable
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Use your cell phone and snap a quick photo of the monitor hook-ups, Snap a couple of pictures of each just to be sure, Take the photos and the Laptop to Best Buy and they can get the correct cables you need, There are simply too many cables for me "guess" what you need exactly, but they can help you in an instant.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You should just be able to connect a HDMI cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but you have to go into your display settings and sure you set your monitors in order to which you want to view
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Check the back of you monitor to see what kind of cables you can connect to it. Most monitors have either VGA(the cord with a blue end) or a DVI(the cord with a white end) port in it. Then check your laptop to see what kind of monitor port it has. Most laptops have VGA ports, I would recommend getting a VGA cable.
