This unit comes with built-in over charging and short circuit protection, you can be assured that your Oculus components are safe.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can leave it overnight without worrying about short-term effects. That said the battery will get worse over a long-term period. I would recommend just taking it of the charging dock during the night but leaving it on during the day. Also if you see that its fully charged during the day just take it off as well.

I would recommend doing it during arraigns so it is around full charge. This is because the Oculus's Aluminum battery starts to get worse over time when left on full battery
