Is the drive hot swappable? null

Yes it has a very nice tool free both for opening and securing the drive mechanism.

If you are asking if the NVMe drive itself is hot-swappable, it is not. You will have to disconnect the drive enclosure from the cable and then swap the drives and reconnect to the cable.

Install a M.2 stick and connect to USB port. The drive performs as any external drive would. Limitations would be some cloning software will not clone to external drive, some might. Good speed. Great tool to have, many uses.
