• If you purchase the program from BestBuy and buy a thumb drive there you could probably have one of their Geek Squad people make an ISO copy of it to your new thumb drive. Check with the store first. The program tries to connect to the internet for updates every time it launches which you can decline. It also tries to connect to the internet to efile your taxes if you want to use that method, and I believe it tries to connect to the internet for it's registration as well and I don't know if this step can be skipped.
