A:Answer It comes with a charger that has an attached cable that plugs into the back. Note, this unit uses a lead-acid battery -- not Lithium-ion -- so it is best to leave it on the charger when not in use. Most importantly, my unit came with a worn-out battery (probably sitting around too long in the box, discharging) so you need to check that the battery will hold a charge (full bars on front of radio after charging) when not on the charger immediately or consider returning. I got the unit on sale and wound up replacing my battery ($30 at Amazon) so ate the charge. It will take hours to recharge the battery normally.
