You don’t need WiFi to use the Roomba. You only need WiFi if you want to connect it to your phone or another device like Alexa. I just walk over to it and hit the clean button on top and it goes.

Please try again later.You can actually use any Roomba by just pressing "Clean" on the robot versus using WiFi, and the Roomba 675 is a good entry-level model without a lot of advanced WiFi features. If you want to be totally unconnected, you could also select the Roomba 614 (no WiFi).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know that most of the Roombas actually *require* WiFi. In any case, we bought the 675 (which can be, but doesn't in any form or fashion need to be) app-controlled and are very happy with it (haven't even tried hooking it up with the app).

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would be wary of using any IoT device like robotic vacuum cleaners due to the potential for forced obsolesence via software 'updates'. I have two Roombas- an old Roomba 880 and a newer i7+. The old 880 never stops, just good maintenance, replaced parts/filters, flat-out a beast. It's a bit hard on things as it bumps a bit harder but still running. The i7+ has almost monthly/quarterly 'updates'. Too many in my mind for such a simple device. Last update caused an Error 34 which cannot be fixed- they want to give me $100 to buy new. The error is a called an "Internal Communication Error". No broken wheel, vacuum, or brush motors. Has all the signs of a potential forced obsolescence. This seems to be happening with a lot of devices after five years- manufacturers don't benefit from long-running, reliable products so best strategy is to reach out via software updates to render it a brick. Buyer beware.
