A:Answer The vacuum has 3 buttons,
1- Spot
2- Clean (also power)
3- Dock
The vacuum works this way, model 675 when you press clean it starts doing _random_ movement around the house cleaning the house, after 60 minutes (there is no way to change this) it will start flashing the dock led and it will try to return to the base/charger. It will do that with the same random movements, it does not appears to memorize anything in your house. Once it get close to the dock (aprox 1ft) it is smart enough to self orientate and auto dock in the right position
If you remember those battery car toys that we had in the 90s that once started they move on a random direction and once they hit a wall or an object they go backwards for a small distance, then turn in a random direction and continue in that way until finding another obstacle?? Well that is your vacuum more less, but a little bit smarter..
