  • QuestionCan I program it without WiFi or a phone?

    Asked by Retta7664.

    • Answer You can definitely run your Roomba without WiFi or a phone by simply pressing the "Clean" button on the robot. You can stop it the same way, although your robot will automatically stop when it returns to its Home Base after completing a mission or to recharge. To schedule cleanings, or get other feedback about your robot, you'll need the free app. If you don't want any of the WiFi features, you could consider the Roomba 614 as it's unconnected.

  • QuestionWhat is the difference between Roomba 675 vs Roomba 690? Is one better than the other? Thanks in advance!

    Asked by Netty.

    • Answer Hi Netty. I didn’t see this model at my local Best Buy. The 690 model is an improved version of the 675; little cosmic design. Only difference I see is that it comes with one virtual wall barrier and prob better battery capacity (my 675 sweeps for about 1hr 6min before heading back to the base to recharge). Not sure about the price either as I bought mine on sale. Hope that helps.

    Asked by sammy.

    • Answer You simply remove the bin (it pops out at the push of a button), empty it into your trash and slide it back onto the robot.

  • QuestionHow often do you have to change the filter ?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer We have 3 dogs, 2 of whom shed a lot, so we dump ours after every use. We have only had ours a few months so we have not replaced the filter yet. I’m not even sure if our model has a replacement filter option?? Sorry my answer isn’t more helpful, but I do encourage you to dump the bin often!

    Asked by hickeryhardwood.

    • Answer It will! All Roombas come with cliff sensors that prevent it from dropping off ledges or falling down stairs. No need to block off these areas when cleaning.

  • QuestionThe charger is not working how do I get a charger for it

    Asked by grandkids.

    • Answer I've only had mine a short while, so I don't claim to be an expert. What happened to your Home Base? Don't you have it connected to a wall socket, and have it on and fully operational? That's where the robot wants to go for recharging. Have you tried pressing the Cleaning button and then pressing the Dock button to tell the robot that it should return to the Home Base? The Dock button should flash and it "might" automatically return to the Home Base, where it immediately starts to recharge. If it doesn't return to the Home Base, pick it up and carry it over to the base and try to position it over the charging elements until the battery light indicator on top of the robot flashes, indicating it is charging. If this isn't helpful, call their technical support. I was very impressed by their assistance.

  • QuestionWhat is error 6? How do l correct the problem?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer This error is an alert given by your Roomba 675 when Roomba finds stairs or a drop off. The intelligent Cliff Sensors located under your robot work to keep Roomba from going over stairs. Move Roomba to a new location then press CLEAN to restart.

  • QuestionHow well does this vacuum up kitty litter and will it scratch vinyl planking floors.?

    Asked by LuckyLouie.

    • Answer The Roomba 675 is great for removing many types of debris, including dry dirt and sand. We do not recommend using Roomba for clearing pet waste or wet debris. Roomba is designed to not destroy flooring surfaces. We do suggest reaching out to your flooring manufacturer for cleaning recommendations.
