• Yes, so long as you have the latest firmware update. The keep out zone feature works well.

• It sounds like your best solution is a Virtual Wall (item #4636429) to create a wall or a halo around an area you want your robot to avoid. In the near future, you'll also be able to utilize "keep out zones" to help avoid your love seat as well.
