QuestionThe subwoofer has been super underwhelming, I have it turned to 5 and it’s just not deep, punchy or rumbly like my Bar 3.1. Am I missing something here? I was excited for the signature JBL powerful bass and was disappointed when setting it up today.

- Answer Same here. When we hook it up to the PS4 it has good bass, but not great. When hooked up to the TV, you can hardly tell the subwoofer is on. There is minimal bass even after the firmware update and turning the bass to level 5. We have watched movies that had good bass in them and still the subwoofer isn't nearly as good as the reviews. We checked the settings on our Samsung TV, reset the soundbar, repaired the sub, replaced the HDMI cable, hooked it up with optical cable, moved the sub around etc...and still VERY underwhelming bass.

QuestionCan you turn off the voice that says the commands out loud? So for example every time I adjust the volume it starts speaking and telling me what I’ve adjusted it to.

QuestionJust purchased JBL 5.1 sound bar, in the store it was great. Seems like when the volume is under 19-20 it’s really quiet, volume 22 or more is great. Does anyone else have same problem? Thank you. Also now bar says bass 1,2,3,4,5 instead of Low, Me, high

- Answer I am using a fiber optic input cable and don't have this issue. The volume seems pretty loud at 10-12. Actually have to turn it down to 2-6 when my wife is sleeping.

QuestionCan you pair a second JBL 5.1 soundbar to this soundbar? I don't think this bar needs it but in trying to keep a symmetrical set up, only being able to fit this soundbar to the side of the TV, I'd like to add/pair a second for the other side.

- Answer To my knowledge, no you cannot connect a second jbl soundbar to you soundbar. I tried to connect a second wireless subwoofer, but upon contacting JBL about this, they said no you cannot external speaker that did not come with the soundbar itself.
