You need to run some vinegar through it periodically to get the scale deposits out of it
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Descaling is essentially cleaning out the coffeemaker from that white lime build up that comes with making lots of cups of coffee. In the old days people used to make a pot of coffee with vinegar to "clean it out." Now you buy the single cup coffee maker cleaner - a descaling solution. It comes in a small bottle. You add an ounce to a tank of water and run a few brew cycles (without the coffee). Then you run about 2 clean water tanks and your coffee maker should be descaled. Your brewer should come with instructions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Waters has dissolved minerals (also called hard water) that will solidify on the heating surfaces and other parts and eventually clog the unit. Just like you can use vinegar to dissolve white deposits around your faucet and shower head....you can buy descaling solution that will do the same to clean it out....maybe once a year depending on usage and water hardness. Buy the Keurig descaling solution and follow directions with lots of rinses with no coffee to get the solution out.

You can descale your brewer with our Keurig Descaling Solution and or white vinegar. We hope this information helps.
