you clean the needle on a regular basis to keep it from getting clogged. the maker comes with an orange looking thing to clean the needle. its very easy

A needle cleaner came with it. It's a orange holder with a rubber bulb in it. You shut off the Keurig, put water in the bulb and put it in the Keurig. Open and close it about 5 times and your needle will be clean.

You need to keep the needle clean on this brewer.
