• Yes you can grind your own coffee and then put the coffee grounds into the reusable filter. The filter is no different than any other reusable / single use filter. It is recommended to clean these reusable filters every few months to keep maximum coffee flow through the filter.

• Yes, you can grind your own coffee. But my personal experience, no matter how I ended up grinding my coffee beans...coffee just taste watered down. Hope this helps!
