QuestionMy k-cup is too big and doesn’t fit in the classic machine. The sales person gave it to me. Am I missing something?

- Answer The plastic receptacle attached to your Keurig (i.e. the piece your K-cup sits in while you are brewing coffee) actually comes out, and your Universal My K-cup replaces this piece entirely. Open the lid of your unit, place your finger directly underneath the part of the unit where the receptacle sits, and press gently back toward you. The receptacle will pop out, and you can then insert the My K-cup receptacle.

QuestionWill this work in a commercial Keurig like K150, K155? Other reusable universal filters are too big.

- Answer No it won't work. In fact, I called the company to see what would work with commercial model and was told that they don't make a reusable for the commercial models. She told me I would have to buy a different model. What a stupid response. I already spent over a ton of money on the one I have. It's really ridiculous that they don't offer a reusable for commercial models. Now I'm sorry I purchased it.

QuestionIs there a trick in making a stronger brew? Do I need a coarse grind? Currently using coffee ground for paper, fine grind. I am using the K50 Classic Series. The coffee brews to quickly abd tastes watered down. Thanks

- Answer Regular grind coffee, and add a little more than the fill line. It won’t clog.

- Answer It is made of heavy plastic and has 4 parts: an outer holder, an inner filter that holds the coffee, a locking lid and a snap-on/off adapter to adjust for different sized models.

QuestionCan I purchase a metal reusable k-cup since I am concerned with the use of plastics with hot temperatures. I have a metal K-cup reusable that works with My Bunn but need to buy a new machine so am researching. Thanks.

- Answer So the design of the plastic is meant for the temperatures the machine brews at. Your average cup of coffee is 160-170*F right off the press. Plastic doesn’t melt until much hotter temperatures. Think of your plastic dishes/utensils around the house. If it will make you feel better then by all means use a metal one but these temps won’t even bother the reusable filter.

QuestionJust received a brand new K-elite machine today. I already had a new model My-cup reusable filter. But the reusable filter will not fit into this machine. I removed the K-cup basket but the receiving hole is too small & the My-cup binds front to back.
