The plastic receptacle attached to your Keurig (i.e. the piece your K-cup sits in while you are brewing coffee) actually comes out, and your Universal My K-cup replaces this piece entirely. Open the lid of your unit, place your finger directly underneath the part of the unit where the receptacle sits, and press gently back toward you. The receptacle will pop out, and you can then insert the My K-cup receptacle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine does not fit either. I read all the instructions and removed the bottom piece but it stands too tall to fit in my machine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I took out the K-Cup Pod Holder from my Keurig brewer. Nope. The My K-Cup reusable filter does not fit my machine. It is too big. Everyone is assuming that those having trouble have not followed the manual instructions to take out the pod holder. Not the case. Apparently, the filter doesn't work with the classic machines. As a matter of fact, the pictures in the manuals that came with the filter do not look like my machine. It is frustrating that the packaging does not state this, but actually says that it is compatible with all Keurig home brewers. I don't understand.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine is the same. The directions are not clear on this. My K-Cup is too tall and there is nothing inside the machine that separates (according to other responses). Please be advised that this will not fit the Classic Keurig.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is too tall for the classic and is not universal. I removed the bottom receptical and it is still TOO TALL. YOU CANNOT CLOSE THE LID. For people assuming that folks aren't following instructions - they are, simply read the comments before telling people what you assume thet haven't done. IT DOESN'T FIT THE CLASSIC VERSION.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I removed K-cup and cleaned the machine thoroughly and k-cup sits to high . I can only use it for the pods only. Not good for a family that likes all coffee `s, grounds or pods.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just had the problem. The piece the cup fits into on machine pops out by pressing up on it from the bottom. You also have to take the holder off the part you insert. It took me a moment to figure it out. Had to look up the answer here. The first answer is what worked!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The grey ring and handle must be removed to make it fit!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are two types of My K Cups. One has the arm attached to a removable ring that can be removed to allow use in a Classic. The other has the arm that is permanently attached and will not fit in a classic.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Be careful I accidentally broke the top of my Keurig that I just received as a gift! It still works thankfully but doesn't close as tightly as before bc I tried to get it to fit! I am so freaking upset! I'm glad it still works but the fact it doesn't shut as smoothly or open like it did before is so upsetting. Hopefully you learn from my mistake! Don't MAKE IT FIT
