Hello, Yes, there is a second NVMe SSD slot for an upgrade to a second drive. Once you have the bottom cover off, you will see a metal shroud covering the second SSD slot on the left. Gently lift up the shroud, install your new drive, replace shroud and place bottom cover back on laptop. That's all there is to it. Easy peasy. Hope that helps :-)

Two ssds can be installed inside. Keep in mind that the X4 speed will be reduced to X2 per drive if both slots are used. If you want to maximize the speed of your ssd then install one large drive (1tb or 2tb) and leave the second slot empty.
