“Why does the default desktop background say "ASUS" instead of Lenovo? I literally just opened this up, plugged it in, did the initial setup, and noticed that the desktop background shows ASUS. Did I get some kind of knockoff unit? It is brand new from BestBuy.”

I'm assuming the last computer you signed in on was an Asus. With windows 10 when you create a Microsoft account it saves your user settings including your background. I previously returned an HP Spectre and changed the background to a custom image. When I logged into the new Lenovo it immediately changed the background to the one I had on the Spectre

I have a feeling you got screwed over into getting a used one or something. Just bought mine two days ago and the default background was black with 4 keys and a track pointer in the middle. All looked like it was drawn (To show off the stylus).
