Yup this is a design flaw updates and driver reinstalls wont fix it. Look at the post by jstuart830 on this thread in the Lenovo forum: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-Yoga-Series-Notebooks/i9-weak-wi-fi-signal/m-p/5056282?page=2 Apparently removing some of the rear screws can correct it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the laptop and had this issue. It's likely due to tiny metal screws near the antenna (wire) of the wifi module impeding the wifi signal. Per someone else's answer to this question here, this has been documented on Lenovo community page and the solution is to remove 3 screws under the rubber bar near the hinge. You can either peel off the rubber bar or remove the bottom panel altogether... I removed the whole panel since I hate dealing with glue. You can remove all 3 screws, but I just removed the center one (which was sitting next to the AUX antenna cable for the wifi module) and the 5G wifi signal significantly improved - but you may want to remove at least the 2 nearest the wifi module or all 3. Those screws seemed to be meant to hold the back panel on, but given there's other screws holding the back panel on and that I was able to pry the back panel off without removing those screws, they probably have little value and Lenovo should just stop including them in the build. (unless the point was have an easy way to ID if the panel has been removed by someone)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I got this unit 2 days ago..I started noticing WiFi problems and spent an hour with Lenovo support upgrading drivers. Didn’t help. Read Lenovo forums...this appears to be a real issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I bought 3 of these units all 3 of them do this , I have to unplug my modem and and router every day. My Speed starts at 1.0 only and goes to double my older wifi speeds 294 speed after modem reboot.. Also cordless mouse is very jumpy though USB to 4 adapter. I love new units, I hope they get issues fixed soon.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased the same model over holidays and have had NO issues with wifi. Sorry I can't be of help other than to suggest it may be your wifi signal that is dropping. When my wifi drops it on another unit it will do exactly what you described.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We are sorry to hear that you are having WiFi issues with your Intel Evo-Certified Lenovo Yoga 9i-14 model number 82BG000CUS. This model ships with the latest Intel 6G Wide-Range/High Speed 2x2 802.11AX frequency WiFi. Be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on your computer. Then update all of the BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 10. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.
