- Answer We do not recommend using Level Bolt with a dummy knob. Since the dummy knob does not have a latch, there is nothing to passively hold the door in place with the bolt and receiving hole aligned. You would have to hold the door while performing a lock operation.

- Answer Level Bolt is powered by a Lithium 3-volt CR2 battery, which lasts about one year with average use. “Average use” means about 10 powered lock or unlocks a day (this doesn’t include using a key to manually retract or extend the bolt).

- Answer With Level Bolt, you would not be able to stop manual unlocking and locking. However, you can set up Auto-Lock so your door is locked after a specific duration of time once it’s unlocked (30 seconds up to 1 hour). You’re also able to connect the lock with Level Connect or a HomeKit hub, so you’ll be able to lock the door remotely anytime you’d like.

- Answer In the Level app, each lock can have its own individual settings for things like Auto-Lock or Auto-Unlock which could make them operate simultaneously. However, it is not possible to control two locks with a single tap in the app. Each lock tile would have to be pressed individually. Alternatively, you could create a Scene in Apple Home to control both locks with one command.
