Hello D. Sorry to read that you're having problems with connecting the LG NB3530A Soundbar to your LG 65" Class (64-1/2" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - HDTV, Model # 65LB5200. The NB3530A is not the correct Soundbar for this TV because it does not have the correct Audio Output. You would need a Soundbar that has a Digital Coaxial Input because that is what the Audio Output on the 65LB5200 is. The port looks like an RCA port but it is color coded orange for easy identification and you would need to get a Digital Coaxial cable (careful not to get this mixed up with the RCA Composite Red/White cables, they are not the same!) You might be able to find an adapter of sorts that lets you connect to the TVs Audio Output but you also need to make sure that the adapter if you can locate one, has an Optical Digital Input and Output (also know as the TOSLINK port). Your NB3530A Soundbar only uses the Optical Digital ports for Audio connections (it has 2 of them)...IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You probably already have a solution but...for anyone else...Call the LG customer Service number listed in your product documents. They will walk you through the set up process. They were a great help...patient, polite, and answered all of my questions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have you tried using the optical output of the T.V. to the optical input of the sound bar? I bought a long cable and it works just great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have you tried to connect it with an RCA white and red then converts to an aux connection
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 65 has an optical connection in the control board in back, the sound bar comes with a optical connector. If that has been taken by another source you can connect via blue tooth to the TV directly
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's comes with a provide optical cable Happy jamming
