The complete wash/dry cycle time for the LG 4.5 Cu. Ft. 14-Cycle Washer and 12-Cycle Electric Dryer Combo with TurboWash® Technology - Black Steel, Model # WM3998HBA will depend on several factors. When a cycle is selected, the default time for that cycle is displayed. This time will change as modifiers or options are selected. Once the Start/Pause button is pressed, the washer will measure the size of the load. The estimated time may change once the load size has been measured. The time shown is only an estimate. This time is based on normal operating conditions. Several external factors (load size, room temperature, incoming water temperature, etc.) can affect the actual time. The other thing you also need to keep in mind is that the washing capacity for this unit is twice the drying capacity so if you wash a full load, you should take hald of that load out for drying other wise it will take longer for the clothes to dry. Typically, when standalone washers and dryers are matched, the dryer has about twice or close to twice the capacity of its matching washer. In this case, since both washing and drying occur in the same tub, a full load will take longer to dry. When the drying cycle is set so that drying starts when the wash cycle ends, the estimated drying time varies from the actual drying time during the Automatic cycle. The type of fabric, size of the load, and the dryness selected affect drying time. You can also use manual drying. The drying time can be selected by pressing the Dry button. The drying times are given as a guide to help you set your washing machine for manual drying...^IFV
