The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 5.0 cu.ft. Mega Capacity Top Load Washer, Model # WT7200CW can also hold 20-22 pounds of laundry. The difference of 0.2 cubic feet between this model and the WT7500CW does not make a difference in terms of load capacity limits, but again, please keep in mind that while it is economical in both utility costs and time management to do full loads, you should never cram clothes and overstuff a washer just because you can. You also need to consider that the type of load will also make a big difference. 20 pounds of shirts is a lot different to 20 pounds of towels when they get wet...^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on what you wash. Towels and jeans tend to make it off balance- so I only load it half full now. But regualr clothes, I fill it 2|3 - 3/4 of the tub. It really depends on how much your fabrics soaks in water.
