    Asked by ReggieBannister.

    • Answer This question is asked in the LG website and they stated on there that this is an atsc 3.0 nextgen ready tv. I talked to a representative on there and they told me the same thing. I'm not sure if by the previous answer says no. I haven't bought this yet so I can't say for sure.

  • QuestionDoes this TV come shipped with a screen protective cover that needs to be peeled off before use? The one I just purchased appears to have a layer on top of the glass but it doesn't seem to be removable.

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Hi there! Thank you for reaching out. The LG 50QNED80URA TV does not come with a removable protective screen cover over the display itself. Some TVs may have protective film on the bezels or other non-display components during shipping, but the screen itself should be free from any removable film. If it seems like there’s a layer on the display, it could simply be the screen's natural coating or finish designed to reduce glare or enhance picture quality. Attempting to remove it could damage the TV. If you're uncertain or if there appears to be a visible film that doesn't seem normal, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and our team will help you verify and resolve the issue. We appreciate your patience and are here to assist you! —Renzo

  • Questioncan this be used as a computer monitor?

    Asked by BuckyBodine.

    • Answer The answer may be yes, providing your computer has the ability to connect the LG QNED via the available ports on the back of the TV. Please note that the quality of most TV's is not as good as some of the actual computer monitors, so it may not look as great as you would want it to be. You are also going to need a very large place to put this bog mother next to your computer.

  • QuestionDo open box tvs include the full warranty?

    Asked by Jack.

    • Answer I asked about my open box Dell laptop warranty when picking it up. I was that it did carry a full 1 year factory warranty still. But found out otherwise same day after getting home. What a horrible experience. I talked to the store sales manager and he told me I should have checked with Dell to see if it had a warranty when I purchased it. I asked the sales rep if it would come with the 1 year manufacturer warranty. I was told it would. After getting home I registered the laptop with Dell and was informed the 1 year warranty expired 3 months ago. My open box was 15 months old but of course that wasn’t disclosed. I contacted the Goodyear AZ store where purchased talked to geek squad and then the store sales manager and was told they would not help with the warranty even though they told me it came with a 1 year warranty. Apparently Best Buy and their management could care less about their customers and condone misleading them.
