Do open box tvs include the full warranty? null

I asked about my open box Dell laptop warranty when picking it up. I was that it did carry a full 1 year factory warranty still. But found out otherwise same day after getting home. What a horrible experience. I talked to the store sales manager and he told me I should have checked with Dell to see if it had a warranty when I purchased it. I asked the sales rep if it would come with the 1 year manufacturer warranty. I was told it would. After getting home I registered the laptop with Dell and was informed the 1 year warranty expired 3 months ago. My open box was 15 months old but of course that wasn’t disclosed. I contacted the Goodyear AZ store where purchased talked to geek squad and then the store sales manager and was told they would not help with the warranty even though they told me it came with a 1 year warranty. Apparently Best Buy and their management could care less about their customers and condone misleading them.
