I have my lg c1 mounted on a stand. By changing sound source from “stand” to “wall mount” it reduces the booming bass.

I AGREE that the BASS is TOO MUCH by default. ALSO, there is an auto-calibration using the Voice Remote that might take care of this, but I don't have this remote so haven't been able to do this. You can also change the default sound settings from standard to others defaults to see if you like those better.

The settings menu on the LG B9 55 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/AI ThinQ® (54.6'' Diag), Model # OLED55B9PUA you can navigate to the AI Acoustic Tuning (Settings > Advanced Settings > Sound > AI Acoustic Tuning) then scroll down to Bass Boost to deselect it if it is selected. Selecting this option outputs AI Acoustic Tuning-adjusted audio with an emphasis on bass. You will also find an Equalizer in the Sound Mode Settings that you can adjust. The lower frequency of 100Hz and 300Hz can be adjusted for the bass...^IFV
