This air conditioner is equipped with a slinger fan. The fan has an outer ring that runs in the water that collects in the base pan if it gets deep. That condensate is then picked up by the fan and expelled through the condenser, making the air conditioner more efficient. ^CP
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine doesn't have one neither. Older units had it, but not this one. It has some special fan to expel water that reaches certain level. I think they mention in the manual that it must be installed with the correct tilt to avoid water leaking through the front.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is a black, rubber plug in the lower-right corner, as viewed from the back (outside) side. Remove that ant the water will drip out from there. Alternatively, a fitting can be purchased separately and installed in the hole where the black rubber pug was. (See A/C unit owner's manual). This allows attachment of a tube/hose that can be used to direct the escaping condensate to the location of your choosing.
