A:AnswerHello Craig,
The customer wall mount is included with the purchase of the GX OLED. Their is a stand that is available but sold separate.
Hope this helps.
A:AnswerI believe it's 2 (30watt) downward firing speakers along with a 20 watt woofer. Once you get it mounted flat to the wall the loudness of the TV increases greatly. I thought about buying the sound bar but there was no need for my family room. Even if you want full surround all you need to do is connect LG's Bluetooth speakers directly to the TV.
A:AnswerAll LG TVs offer the same streaming options including both Netflix and Prime. The list on the product page is intended to provide only a small sampling of what is available. Please visit https://us.lgappstv.com/main/tvapp for a complete listing of the approximately 600 apps offered, including LG Channels, which provides over 180 channels of free TV content along with other entertainment, educational, new and gaming apps.
A:AnswerYes, the ATSC 3.0 "NEXTGEN" tuner is included in the GX series. The reference you mention was in regards to a software update that was needed to activate it after introduction. This has since been completed. If you live in an area that is broadcasting a NEXTGEN signal, you will now be able to use a digital antenna to receive the signal.

A:AnswerIf you plan on not using the flush mount I would get the LG-CX instead because it's the same tv. The only difference is the flush mounting system. And if you do get the LG-GX I don't know how you would put on an aftermarket mount on it. The mount holes on the back of the tv is like 6" from the top, also theres only 2 mounting screw holes on the back.
A:AnswerBurn-in and image retention are possible on virtually any display. However, with an LG OLED TV, any risk of burn-in or image retention have been addressed through the use of technology that not only helps protect against damage to the screen, but features self-healing properties so that any short-term image retention that may occur is quickly rectified. It is rare for an average TV consumer to create an environment that could result in burn-in. Most cases of burn-in in televisions is a result of static images or on-screen elements displaying on the screen uninterrupted for many hours or days at a time – with brightness typically at peak levels. So, it is possible to create image retention in almost any display if one really tries hard enough. And even if image retention does occur from extreme usage, it can usually be mitigated within a short period of time by turning the display off for a while, and watching a few hours of varying content (such as your standard TV watching and channel-surfing). Additionally, the LG GX 65 inch Class with Gallery Design 4K Smart OLED TV w/AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # OLED65GXPUA come with special features and settings to preserve image quality and prevent burn in and image retention. First, there is a Screen Saver feature that will turn on automatically if the TV detects that a static image is displayed on screen after approximately two minutes. There are also three options (available in Menu setting > Picture settings > OLED panel settings) that can be used to preserve image quality. The first of these is the Clear Pixel Refresher feature that calibrates any issues that may arise on the screen when your TV has been turned on for a long time. Calibration takes more than an hour. The second feature that can be employed is the Screen Shift feature which, moves the screen slightly at regular intervals to preserve image quality. A third option is the Logo Luminance Adjustment, which can detect static logos on the screen and reduce brightness to help decrease permanent image retention...^IFV
A:AnswerYes, it comes with the wall mount. In fact, in the US market the GX comes a wall mount only. It does not come with traditional stand.
Apparently, the stand may be ordered separately, but this TV was designed to be on the wall.
A:AnswerThe TV is 57" wide, 32" tall, and a consistent 3/4" deep - perfect for mounting against a wall - brick or whatever. It even comes with a bracket for mounting flat against a wall. HOWEVER - figure out your cabling! The TV at least needs power to it. In theory this could be all, and you use Wifi for the Internet apps (Netflix etc) and you can cast to it via Bluetooth. But normally if you have cable or satellite, you will want an HDMI connector from the set-top to the TV. If you have a home theater (and surround sound), you will want HDMI and maybe a fiber cable (for audio return to the theater amplifier/tuner, although the TV does support ARC - Audio Return Channel over the HDMI cable. Lastly, you might want an Ethernet cable so the TV talks at higher speed to the Internet (higher than over WiFi). My TV has all of these cables connected.
A:AnswerNot an easy question to answer. The BEST way to place a recessed outlet would be to first possess the TV mount (which comes with this particular LG OLED TV). They provide a paper template. The mount itself is actually an accordion-style mount that can move the TV directly against the wall, or out a ways to compensate for such things as power cords/signal feeds.
A:AnswerI have found the best screw to use for mounting in concrete is a concrete Tap-con screw. No inserts needed and makes for a much more secure anchor. Personally I would not trust plastic molly inserts for mounting a large flat screen TV to a concrete wall.
A:AnswerThe TV will only mount “flush” with the wall if you use a box with ZERO bezel. Leviton makes a home media box that allows the receptacle to be installed inside the wall, the larger the media box is the easier it will be to route the cables. There is a very specific height the box must be in order to not show under the tv when finished and LGs website has printouts for each TV size. I also had issues with the corners of my TV wanting to poke out due to som very minor un-squareness in my wall, I ended up putting small strips of Velcro on each corner to keep them tight. The tv is so thin it’s not super rigid outside of the mounting area. The end result is absolutely stunning and the picture still blows my mind.
A:AnswerThis is one of our premium TVs. It offers wide viewing angles and handles glares well with little to no reflection with a total reflection of less than 1.5%. The image remains accurate when viewing at an angle, so it's ideal for wide seating arrangements. ^Daphane
