Yes, I use it with DVDFAB all the time. No problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can't speak about dvdfab, but it's played DVD just fine with jRiver. The OS sees it as a drive, so I'd think that any appropriate software could use it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, that is just a program that runs the hardware.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will, but DVDFab is not compatible for writing Blu-ray discs. It will read/write CD and DVD discs, but not Blu-ray.. No need to spend the extra money on this device if you just want to burn CDs and DVDs. You can get a cheaper device for that. To burn Blu-Ray discs, you will need another software tool.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I tried free on-line software but it was a little glitchy, so I just bit the bullet and bought Cyberlink PowerDVD 16 Ultra. Have had no troubles playing movies. Haven't tried anything else yet. But from what I see on the available drop downs and icons, I shouldn't have any problems when I am ready to do something creative.
