A:AnswerHi, sad to say it was not known until after we bought the fridge and got delivered that this fridge does not display current temperature. I thought it was a given that all fridge of this kind would provide you the current temp. But no, it only displays the target temperature. And to answer the question, you have to touch a button or open the fridge for the temperate to display...and what it displays is target temp...NOT current temp. What a let-down!!!!
A:AnswerWhy in the world are the refrigerator manufactures making refrigerators without magnetic front doors? I think if people stopped buying them they would start making the magnetic again. It is an American tradition to put magnets and pictures and drawings on the front of your refrigerator in the refrigerator manufactures need to start making the fronts magnetic again. I will only be buying a magnetic front refrigerator and there aren't that many options out there only whirlpool and Samsung currently make the magnetic fronts that I am aware of you have to shop with the magnet to be sure

A:AnswerThe icemaker will produce 7 cubes per cycle - approximately 70-120 cubes in a 24-hour period, depending on freezer compartment temperature, room temperature, number of door openings and other operating conditions. Ice making stops when the ice storage bin is full. When full, the ice bin holds approximately 6 to 8 (12-16 oz) glasses of ice. ^CP
A:AnswerFrost buildup inside the freezer in the LG Door-in-Door 26.0 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water, Model # LSXS26366S occurs when warm, humid air combines with the cold, dry air on the inside. Limit the frequent opening of the drawer and keep the freezer correctly filled. Reduce the amount of time the freezer is left open. That will help keep the temperature inside your freezer consistent and cold. You should always make sure that the drawer is properly closed each time after opening it. Keep the hot sources away from the freezer. Too much heat can cause the freezer to work overtime and result in frost buildup.. Do not block your freezer's airflow by pushing it too close to the wall. The coils in the back of the freezer need some space to cool the freezer efficiently. Check to make sure that the coils are clean & not clogged with dust & dirt. You can use a vacuum to clean the coils. If a sheet of ice has formed at the bottom of the freezer, this is likely caused by a blocked drain line. You can manually defrsot the refrigerator. You will need to remove all the food and ice from the ice bin and unplug the unit. Leave the doors open and wait at least 8 hours for the refrigerator to defrost. Make sure to keep towels in and around the unit to soak up any excess water after the frost melts. After 8 hours have passed, use a dry towel to remove any moisture that may be left inside. Plug the unit back in and wait 24-48 hours for the refrigerator to return to normal operations. Make sure that the vents inside are not blocked. Make sure that the refrigerator is properly leveled. When it is not properly leveled, the doors & drawers do not close properly leading to frost buildup. If a sheet of ice still forms on the floor of the freezer after a manual defrost, this indicates that the drain line is blocked which will require a professional technician...^IFV

A:AnswerYes it does but it is for repair use only. You can use a smart device with google assistance like your phone for repairs, it is like Apple Pay or such which transmits error codes for repairs, but doesn’t actually serve any other function.
A:AnswerYes, 5 years on cooling, 1 year on everything else, however, they will take their sweet time getting your warrantied appliance fixed. By the time anyone even gets to my house (if they actually come this time), it will be 6 weeks without a refrigerator and I hear parts are back ordered months, so who knows when I will have a working refrigerator and freezer again.
