While it certainly appears possible, I would strongly recommend against doing that. This pedestal washer is intended to be used with a companion full-sized washer or dryer on top of it, and they lend stability to the pedestal while it spins. If you have this pedestal washer on a countertop, and its load is unbalanced during the spin cycle, it could very easily “walk” itself right off the counter. Unless you can devise a way to secure the washer to the countertop surface, I would not attempt this.

If you place your top-load washer on a pedestal, it can actually make loading and unloading your laundry more difficult. You should be able to comfortably reach the bottom of the laundry basket on a top-load washer. LG doesn't recommend you using this on a Counter-Top. `Jai.
