I am 5'4" and I can get the laundry out. I would measure but I am actually doing a load right now. I do have to really reach down there to get the last bit of clothes. Its a very nice sized drum!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.HI Hanni, we appreciate your interest in the LG TurboWash 5.0 Cu. Ft. 12-Cycle Mega-Capacity High-Efficiency Top-Loading Washer, Model # WT5480CW. Regrettably, the depth figure is not available for this nor the other LG washers, but if it will be of any help, knowing what the cubic foot capacity for the washer is and since the drum is a sphere, we can use the formula for the volume of a sphere to calculate what the diameter of the drum is and that works out to 25.8 inches, meaning that from the bottom of the drum to the top it will be 25.8" deep. How much closer to the rim the bottom is will depend on how deep the drum is set in the washer, so it is quite possible that it will be at least 22 inches deep if not a bit deeper. You can contact our Customer Interactive Center and see if they might have access to the exact depth of the drum. Their number is (800) 243-0000...^IFV
