Q: QuestionCan you charge the iPhone 5s while encased in the lifeproof case?I need to know if you can easily charge your iphone while its in the lifeproof case.

• A:Answer Yes, it has a hinged opening located at the charging connection. The charging cord fits easily in and is easy to remove when charging is complete.

Q: QuestionWarranty?I've had mines for over six months and I love it...but I notice on corner it has warped a bit. I'm always on my boat that's why I bought it but now I'm kinda hesident thinking that it's not water proof. That's why I asking about its warranty. Thanks vj

• A:Answer If your not sure if its still working, test it without your phone in it. Take your phone out using a quarter to pry it open where.the indented slots are. Push it back together and test it in a sink full of water. Place something heavy on it so its fully immersed. then open it again and see if any water got in. When you put your phone back in make sure it clicks down all the way.

Q: QuestionDoes this LifeProof case come with a protection plan?Amazon sells the same product for the same price; however, they don't offer the protection plan. I was just wondering if I can get both the case & the plan from Best Buy?

• A:Answer Yes you just have to do warranty through life proof and they will send a replacement I have done many times starting from iPhone 4 all the way to 6

Q: QuestionDo I need a Screen protector?If I buy this case and also a glass screen protector, will the phone fit well in the case? I'm asking because sometimes I need to use the phone out of the case and I don't think that is a good idea don't have a screen protection on it.

• A:Answer Yes it will fit in the case the screen protectors are not thick and they do add the extra protection from scratches!!! Plus if you had it out of the case and accidently drop it, the (glass protectors) will add that cushion so the screen won't crack.

• A:Answer A little stiff, but works fine. The rubber material does wear out after a while and the case will need to be replaced. I think my last case wore out in about two years.

• A:Answer The Lifeproof warranty is supplied by Lifeproof, not Best Buy. In the event of the case breaking or becoming faulty, you just need to contact Lifeproof. If you go to their website, you will be able to print out a template. Fill out the information and take the requested picture of the product. They are very quick to send you replacement parts or entire cases. So yes, you can buy it online and still have the warranty. Its always recommended to keep your receipts etc. For any other details, contact Lifeprood customer service and they can explain the whole process to you.
