“Is ethernet cable an input or output? It seems to me that if you can direct connect to your WIFI with a high speed cable the repeater would do its job better.”

• If the repeater is plugged in you can put it anywhere but if it runs on wifi you just have to keep it in strong range of your router.

• Hi, Micky. Ideally, wired connection is more reliable than the wireless. You can directly connect the unit via wired Ethernet cable from the modem/router and set it as an access point.
