  • QuestionDoes the jitterbug phone have speed dial on it where you can program someone's number?

    Asked by Luci.

    • Answer The phone does have speed dial capabilities. The problem is the company does a HORRIBLE job with keeping it's documentation updated. I went to the online manual because I knew the manual that came with the phone would not be updated. The online manual was also wrong. So I will place the steps I used on 1/28/2022 to set up speed dial. It may not be accurate tomorrow the way this company rolls. 1. Go into Contacts and select the contact you want to set up for speed dial. 2. Select Edit Contact and press OK 3. Then under "Edit Phone Number" select the phone number and press OK 4. Press the down arrow until you get to the section labeled "Speed Dial" 5. Select add to speed dial by pressing OK 6. When the display comes up press the key number on your dial pad you want to assign to be the speed dial number for the contact you have selected and then press OK 7. Press the down arrow to select "Save Update" then press OK The system will save your selection and that completes the process. As I said, I can't guarantee these directions will work come tomorrow but as of today, they work. I hope this helps and God Bless.

  • QuestionWhat accessories go with this and the approximate monthly cost? What goes with this and the approximate monthly cost?

    Asked by dimples.

    • Answer The basic plan that they advertise for 14.99 is for 200 minutes, doesn't include voicemail. The service rep you call to activate the phone was not real customer service friendly. Tried selling lots of other add ons. We went with the 600 minutes for 19.99 and then added voice mail and it is $30+/month. The best part is there is no contract. The phone came with a cradle charger and it works quite well in an assisted living facility.

    Asked by Alldaytalk100.

    • Answer Hello, the life expectancy of a Jitterbug product varies depending on multiple factors. All new (originally purchased) phones, device, accessories and batteries come with a 1-year warranty that protects against manufacturing defects. If the product should fail within the first-year due to a manufacturing defect, the product would be replaced. • QuestionCan I port my current telephone number over to the Jitterbug?

    Asked by Cannon.

    • Answer Yes! I had my Mom's long-time landline number ported to her Jitterbug - her friends can still find her, and she didn't have to get used to a new number. Just be sure that the timing of current carrier and the Jitterbug folks are in sync so it happens seamlessly.
