This "linkmodo" guy obviously doesn't own an Xbox One, in which case, he shouldn't be answering questions about products for it. The real answer is: NO, it is not wireless for the Xbox One, even though it says "for PC, PS4, and Xbox One". You have to get a headset adapter for your controller if you're on Xbox One. Also, you can NOT get true surround sound on ANY console headset, only PC. The advertisement for this product is VERY misleading. The best option ive seen for TRUE 100% wireless is the Turtle Beach 420X+. But again, you wont get real surround sound out of it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, The Logitech G933 does not work with the Xbox one wirelessly You are required to have a Cord, I purchased it and found out that the Xbox one is unable too connect wirelessly, And Returned it, And Purchased the Astro A-50 Headset, And it had instructions with them, Where the Logitech had a small picture diagram and that was it. If you purchase a wireless like the A-50, Make sure you get the Replacement plan because I seen a video where the battery is embedded and glued to the internal part of the headset.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.no it wont yo have the plug the aux cord into the controller using the adapter then it will work, it only works wireless with ps4
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you'll have to use the included wire and adapter
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Wirelss Audio yes, you'll have to use a wire (Which they provide) and you have to plug it into the Xbox One Control. If you have the 1 gen Xbox One controller, then you'll need a headphone adapter from Microsoft, Turtle Beach or Astro for it to work. The USB dongle for this headphone will not stream Xbox one Gaming Audio. Logitech also recommends using the Headphones in passive mode for the Xbox one. This means you have no lights on, and the buttons including the volume controller on the headphones will not work with the Xbox 1. Also, this headphone has only stereo sound, not surround sound for the Xbox One. Wireless Chant. NOT SUPPORTED on Xbox One. I think the Turtle Beach Elite is the only headphones on the market that supported wireless chat.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Chef is also wrong, you can not get true 7.1 without having a headset that has 7 speakers per side and then getting them to sound right is not going to happen. What we hear is virtual 7.1 and my understanding the 933 is wireless but you need to connect to the controller for talking and you'll get surround sound. It has the headset L listed in its sound application. Now I know this might of not been the case at Xmas but the true surround still was not true then.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, at the moment the X1 has to have a connector cable to the controller for all the headsets out there. I own an X1 so I am not bashing it, but it is a flaw in the way they created the X1 with no bluetooth compatibility and forces you to use the controller. For whatever reason I hav enot found a headset that has a wireless dongle like the Turtle Beach XP500 had for the 360. When a company makes one of these, that is when you can be completely wireless for the X1.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The headset will work when plugged into the game controller, but not with 7.1 surround sound. There is no way to get 7.1 on XBox one with this headset. I did not try it bluetooth but I am sure it will work (again, no 7.1 on XBox one). The main point in buying an expensive headset with 7.1 is to be able to use 7.1. Unfortunately, to get that feature, there are no headsets as of 12-25-16 that did it for less that $200 and that is on sale (purchased from best buy a 7.1 unit).
I would recommend:
