A:AnswerHello, Here's a link to the Compatability check where you can enter your VAVA projector's model number or product name. Once you do that, then a list of Harmony products will show up that are compatible. https://support.myharmony.com/en-in/compatibility. - Richard from Logitech
A:AnswerHello Jim, You should be able to replace the remote that comes with the Google Chromecast. You'll need to download the Harmony App which will walk you through the setup. Here's a link to getting started with the Harmony Elite: https://support.myharmony.com/en-us/elite. - Richard from Logitech
A:AnswerIt operates best when connected to wifi. You will not even have to point the remote at the equipment you are operating. The distance it works is only limited by the range of your wifi network. I'm able to stand in my backyard and adjust the volume of my outside speakers without line-of-site to my receiver.
A:AnswerHello, The essential difference between the Harmony 665 and the Harmony Elite is that the 665 uses Infrared and the Elite uses a hub that uses Infrared, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. That gives the Elite the capability to control more devices and to use apps. - Richard from Logitech
A:AnswerIt was the best and most versatile remote controller in its price range. The comparable smart remote controllers are twice the price and the better ones are very expensive.
It was not perfect but it was working okay and did the job.
A:AnswerI have used a Harmony Remote since about 1995. Over those years, I have purchased one additional remote when the first one wore out in 2020. I have 7 devices operating through my AV receiver, so I just had the Geek Squad come to my house to program it for all 7 of those devices (record turntable, two cassette tape players, two CD players, a PAL format DVD player, and a BluRay player). My receiver runs my surround sound system. The Harmony interacts with my receiver. Without the Harmony, I would have to use 7 remotes for the devices and one for the receiver. I recently purchased a new Denon receiver, and when the Geek Squad was hooking up all my devices and re-program my Harmony, the agent told me that Logitech has discontinued this remote. She couldn't understand why Logitech did that because they were so popular! She said there are still some around, and when GS agents see one in the warehouse, they put them in their van so that they can have them available for customers who want one. In fact, she had one left in her van. In the last couple of weeks, she had sold the other 4 and only had this one left. Even though I did not need one right now, I bought it from her. I never want to be without one again. While she was here, she programmed that one as well to my new receiver. No doubt, I have told you more than you wanted to know and not really answered your question. I only shop at Best Buy, and if you can locate one of them at a Best Buy store, I would recommend that you have Geek Squad come to your house to program it. If they can't hook those items up for you, it can be returned to Best Buy for a refund. I don't think you would be charged for the home visit since they could not make it work to your satisfaction.
A:AnswerHello Foley. When setting up your remote in the app, you can set the "watch TV" activity to show the number pad on the screen as your default look. If you don't want to reprogram the remote, you can swipe on the screen, and it should cycle between screens and your number pad should be there.
A:AnswerIt was mad to not be able to replace the battery. It can be done. You have to take the remote apart. Start by removing the screws from the bottom of remote behind programming door. You can then slide the bottom off. You then separate the top and bottom to get to the battery. Get the number off the batter and look on line for it. Are you sure it is the battery and not your charger causing your issue?
A:AnswerAccording to Logitech's website, it looks like you should be able to use your original remote to program the Harmony to control a device that is not in their database. Here are the instructions:
https://support.myharmony.com/en-us/adding-a-device-thats-not-found-in-the-harmony-database
And... to check if your air conditioner and/or ir fans are in the data base, you'll need to know the manufacturer and model number and then you can check them here:

I hope that helps,
