- Answer You can do Volume Up one click at a time. Not go to a specific level setting. I had Control4 for quite a while and they were the same, so must be a reason on the receiver end. I assign a key sequence to one of the buttons. The key sequence is 10 Volume Ups (or Downs). Which on my receivers is about right for a Soft Mute or a reasonable volume increase.

QuestionI have a 4 or 5 year old Harmony Hub system that only accepts 2.4Gig signal for the wi-fi. Are the new hubs only 2.4Gig also? My Xfinity (Comcast) does not allow this.

- Answer Hello. The Harmony Hub uses low power 2.4GHz to communicate with your devices. Most smart home devices are also 2.4GHz and computers, cell phones, game systems and other things with more streaming capabilities are using the 5GHz band. You may be able to have the Comcast router send out signals in both the 2.4 and 5.0 GHz bands. If its not possible on your router, you will need a dual-band wifi router or access point to communicate with the Hub and other smart home devices.

- Answer I haven't tried that setup yet, But from what I can find, the 950 Remote is Dependent on the Harmony Hub in order to work, Without the Hub, you lose the Alexa Compatibility, and most of the Advanced Features, etc... ALSO it won't be Mobile Capable either, But everything I can research on it says it won't work in General without the Harmony hub... To buy the Remote & Hub together isn't that much more expensive, but why wouldn't you want to buy the Hub, It gives you access to EVERYTHING around your house: Smart Lighting Systems, Air Conditioning, Heat Pump, Smart Locks & Garage Door Openers, Security Systems, Other AV Devices, Literally, EVERYTHING in your home, etc... It just makes sense to buy the Remote "In Case" you decide to upgrade in the Future...

- Answer Hello, the Harmony 665 remote is not compatible with the Harmony Hub. But our Harmony Companion and our Harmony 995 remote does. If you're looking for a great controller to go with your Harmony Hub, those two are great options for you.

QuestionI have an echo dot and a Samsung 6 series tv. Alexa cant seem to switch to the apps on the tv for example the "SpectrumTV" app. Also I cant seem to have alexa raise the volume on the tv which is connected to the TV via the HDMI ARC.

- Answer I've had limited time with mine, I probably bought mine around the same time you asked this question. First answer, YES, the Harmony will allow you to switch apps to SpectrumTV or other apps. In order to use Alexa to raise the volume on the TV, the TV or soundbar would need to have an app with skills capable of accepting Alexa commands. I think this is maybe your limitation.

- Answer Yes , when you are doing the setup it will ask you questions about your entire tv collections (DirecTV model of tv and any surround sound) and from there you should be golden. If you decide to get it install the app and sign up for the application

- Answer Your question has nothing to do with Logitech Remotes, but I can give you some broad brushstroke answers. 1. Do you already have WiFi in your house? If so, do you have a good signal in your garage? If the answer is yes to both of those questions, you just need to configure your devices (computer, SmartTV, etc.) in the garage to use your WiFi. 2. If you don't have WiFi at all or have a poor signal in the garage, you have other options. a. The cheapest is to see if you can run an Ethernet cable from somewhere in your house (usually from the router) to the garage. The cable should be rated at least CAT 5e. If you need to connect several devices, you'll need a switch and some more Ethernet cables. A switch allows you to connect several devices to your house’s network. If your home's router supports a 1 Gigabit internal network, select a 1 Gigabit switch if money permits to allow higher speed data communications and more bandwidth if you have several devices sharing the same cable. b. If your WiFi signal is poor in the garage, you have other options: i. One of the simplest fixes can be using a wireless bridge. Wireless bridges have better transmit/receive capabilities than those built into computers and SmartTVs, so they can wireless connect in areas that normally have weak signal coverage. ii. Similar to a wireless bridge are Mess networks. There are a couple companies that make these devices. You generally see them in packages of 3. You place them around your house and they improve WiFi coverage around your house iii. You can purchase a pair of Ethernet Over Power (EoP) devices. One-unit plugs into a standard wall outlet and has an Ethernet connection to your home’s network (generally at the router). The other unit plugs into a wall outlet in your remote location (garage) and has an Ethernet connection to your remote device. Since these devices generally have only one Ethernet connection, you will have to purchase a switch for the garage if you need to connect several devices in your garage to your network.

- Answer Yes and yes. You first set it up using the Harmony mobile app and Harmony program on a PC though you can just use the Harmony program and once the hub is on your WiFi network you copy the settings of your Harmony One to the Hub and you're all set.
