As it is not unifying you can run into a big problem if you lose the USB receiver (dongle). It happened to me and it took months until I was able to find a solution, neither the logitech page or blogs supported me, I found the solution in the comments of a youtube video. The solution was to buy a cheaper M185 mouse that uses the same USB receiver that we need. Once we have the dongle we use the Logitech Options or Connect Utility app of the brand, to synchronize it you have to remove a battery from the keyboard and turn off the mouse first. When it asks us to turn on the devices, we turn on the mouse and put the battery simultaneously. If we use Logitech Options, only the keyboard is added first and we give the option to add devices and add the mouse.

I lost my usb dongle for my Logitech MK470 (keyboard & Mouse combo) by selling my old PC, I forgot to remove it and I wasn't able to get it back from the buyer. -I saw this thread and as if the universe sent me straight here for the right answer because I happened to have an old M185 Mouse laying around from an old laptop I had, I downloaded the "Logitech Connetion Utility" and in a matter of seconds my Keyboard and mouse connected!! Im so happy threads like this exist and people like you take genuine interest in helping others!! Shout out to you man!!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it is not, nor does the other post on this site saying that you can purchase the M185 mouse and use that usb receiver correct. I purchased the M185 mouse and it does not allow you to connect any other devices using either of the connectivity apps mentioned.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Some m185 mouses come with C-U0010 which is the correct one for k470, others come with C-U0019 which do not work with k470. Do if you're bying m185 make sure it has C-U0010
