In Mac OS X there's also an "Input Menu" (under System Preferences > International) that allows you to select various foreign-language keyboards, including standard German and Swiss German. The "International" control panel also allows you to set your language options.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well, My question was different. I know already that one can change the input language and also configure virtually. But then the keyboard would show some letters/numbers and you will be entering something else. that would mean one would need to remember the exact key positions while typing. That is actually a mess. I would like to have the key printed on the keyboard to be of German keyboard. this option exists while configuring in an apple store, does it exist here in Bestbuy aswell ?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. With macOS, you can choose the keyboard layout and language. I believe you can even switch to QWERTZ that German uses. Just go into settings-keyboard and change the input language
