YES. I have my magic jack attached to the router and the base phone of my cordless phone set attached to the magic jack. I have 6 cordless phones on this system on three different floors and six different rooms in my house.

You will need an additional Magic Jack if you want to use it with a different phone number. I have one Magic Jack each with my home phone and fax machine that have different numbers. You can still use the line for more than just the fax.

You can bring it into the box fpom outside where your old landline used to be. Additionally you can get a free 2nd number assigned to your cell that works on an app wherever you have wifi or you can use the same number on your cell as your mj phones but it is possible to make another call from the app o. Your phone while using your line attached to the magicjack.
