No it does not work, and all the answers saying it's a satellite issue are somewhat correct. The problem is that Hughes Network have their own phone system they want u to purchase, therefor magic jack will never work with their satellite internet. Skype is Voip, so is magic jack, yet Skype for me works. That says a lot.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the magic jack itself says it does not support satellite internet connections, i have personally used one on Hughes net in two different locations with excellent results, as long as you have a free Ethernet port you do not need any extra equipment (if not you will need a router or switch), however your results may very based on your actual connection
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as u have any broadband connection u can need Ethernet cable or a pc connect to use and download app
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You do need "high speed" internet to use this, so assuming hughsnet is your internet service, if it's high speed it should work fine. Believe there is something on the Magic Jack website to indicate the minimum speed needed. Everything you need to connect will be in the box, including the cables.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Of you have a modem then you can use it, also works on USB port on PC or laptop.
