“I really need to find a way to soak clothes in this washer. I've read all the Q&A but none of it seems to work. Has someone managed to get this to happen. I want to soak overnight.”

i finally figured out a way to soak cloths over night ... After the washer is done filling up with water hit the pause button do not open lid the machine will stay paused walk away and return when your done soaking push pause button again and cycle will continue from where it was paused. This is the only way that I have found that allows you to soak your cloths. Do not leave the lid open or you will come back and find the washer empty.. Hope this helps ! ! !
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My husband works in the arborist business, so LOTS and LOTS of sweat, chainsaw oil, grit, and sawdust to contend with. I have to start a deep fill cycle on hot (hint, any cycle with deep.fill option works, but "bedding cycle fills up faster), I let the machine do it's thing until it's full. This may mean some agitation while filling. I set a timer to check periodically. Once full, pause the machine and UNPLUG from the wall! Seriously, that's the only thing that works. Absolutely ridiculous that I have to outwit an appliance. Anywho, soak as long as you want, replug, and the machine will go back to the cycle. If you want to rinse and spin at this point, turn off the machine and let it drain as it's programmed to do. Then go to the drain and spin cycle and add an extra rinse. This effectively runs a rinse, drain, spin to finish.

And why did matag not include a soak cycle anyway, idiots. Anyway. Yes the trick is to not touch the lid at all. By the way unplugging it does not actually cut the power to the machine?!? Why is that? If it's started to drain there is no way to stop it. It will finish draining even if you unplug it. My advice seriously is to return this and get a new machine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does work if you hit pause before the initial "sensing fill" light turns off. Just make sure not to lift the lid after you hit pause unless you want it to drain.
