- Answer You get a USB thumb drive for much faster transfer and less fragile media. Keeps better for longer periods if you're the sort to do clean installs. You also get a paper card with your license key on it. If you're already using WIndows 7 or 8, there's a good chance you won't actually need it and may be able to get away with just upgrading for free using the Windows 10 media creation tool, but that's sorta inconsistent. I've seen it work before, I've seen it not work before. Worked on my desktop, not on my older laptop.

- Answer Glenn, If you are not running a network with numerous employees you are best to go with the Home version. If you are not an adminstrator you won't know the difference. The Pro version has more security in a business network environment, allowing various access rights to varied employees etc. Hope this helps. You can also google for a pros and cons.

- Answer Yes, it's 64 bit. And if you already are running the pro version of windows 7, this home version upgrades to windows 10 pro.

- Answer No you cannot upgrade directly from Windows Vista to Windows 10. If you have a PC that Vista was originally installed on you may want to check your PC specs on the Microsoft website to see if the PC hardware is compatible to run Windows 10. Some PC's need more memory, hard drive space and or a faster processor depending on how old and how good some of the base components are. Software upgrades started with a later release of Windows 8 so Vista is a little too far back.

- Answer I just did so on December 14 with no problems. While my CPU is 9 years old, it was top line back then, and still runs the latest games at acceptable frame rates, I have 16 GB of new ram, a new 2-Tbyte hard drive (replacing an old 1-Tbyte drive that had been imaged and backed up before it died) and a new video card, so look at your hardware requirements.

- Answer The have two versions (download and usb) and the box looks like the usb version. I have done the install on 3 different PC's and it take an hour or so to do.

- Answer If you are not replacing your entire computer and you are only upgrading Windows, then go thru Microsoft online and purchase the upgrades. That will be easy.

- Answer I was able to upgrade my windows7 to windows10 but not sure about vista. I got excellent information from the Best Buy Tech desk at my local Best Buy and he told me it would work for windows7,. Try talking to the tech desk at your Best Buy store. Good luck.

- Answer The box contains a USB drive with the WIndows 10 first-time-setup process on it and a product key for a license for Windows 10. You won't need to enter the code if you use the USB drive, and if this is your first time building a PC, I would definitely recommend buy this and not buying a sketchy code online. Just plug in the USB drive when you boot up your new PC for the first time and it'll prompt you through how to do the rest. Very simple!

- Answer Hello Swanny, Unfortunately it does not. Microsoft offers the suite of Office Products in there store which is available on the Windows 10 desktop when you first install it. I use Office 365 which is a very reasonably priced subscription that can be canceled if you don't want to pay for it any longer. Also Office can be purchased several other ways as well... on flash drive... as a download... you can even still get it on optical disk (aka DVD). But please make sure your computer has a DVD reader first. Most new computers no longer have optical disk drives because that's old technology now. Most every thing now a days is download or flash drive (aka SSD flash). If you ONLY need excel and word they come in all versions of the Office suite. I hope this helps :-)
